Gweedore Chamber of Commerce

Gweedore Chamber of Commerce- Cumann Tráchtála & Tionscail Gaoth Dobhair.

Founded in July 1990.
Present Committee - President Eamonn Mac Giolla Bhride.
Vice President - Gearóid Mac Phaidín.

Gweedore Chamber has been striving to improve the infrastructure in the Gweedore area since its foundation.

The Gweedore to Letterkenny link road was a major issue over the years and Phase 1 of this project is now complete.

A recent joint initiative undertaken by the Gweedore Chamber and Údaras na Gaeltachta was the provision of Broadband Internet to the area, provided by Ildana. As a result of this initiative Gweedore now benefits from a comprehensive Broadband Internet service

Gweedore Chamber of Commerce is the only Chamber in Ireland which is registered in Irish. As we are based in the heart of the Gaeltacht most business is done through the medium of Irish language.
